In case you missed it, you can find the tracklist for March here. This is my playlist of songs I think you should check out. The playlist is updated every month and it has ten songs. This is the tracklist for April.

With the world being really confusing right now, I didn’t feel the need to add any songs that require a lot of thought. So most of these songs are songs I don’t even listen to lyrics for. They just feel really good

Tracklist

Listen on Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer.

  1. Toulouse: I will follow you So as I was telling my friend about this song, she pointed out to me that a version of it was sung in Sisters Act. You can find that video here. I did some digging and yes, it’s a really old song, this is the oldest version I found on youtube, all the way from 1963. Anyways, Toulouse’s version is really really touching and heartfelt.
  2. Nadia Reid: The future A completely unexpected discovery, I love everything about this song, times multiplied. It really gets to my heart and might have made me a little teary-eyed at some point
  3. Jadu Heart: Suddenly I know you are This kind of sounds like the song that plays at the end of coming of age movie. Stare out the window of a moving car with the rain beating the window and listen to this
  4. PVRIS: Mirrors This group is pronounced as Paris. They couldn't spell it that way for some political reason or something. They make poppy rock music. The music in this album got me through 2016. Love it!
  5. Moglii ft Island Fox: Bloom There is a very good chance that this song will be one of my most played songs by the end of the year. It’s in like 3 of my personal playlists. It has such a great vibe and a really good replay value.
  6. Chika: Industry Games I first heard Chika on twitter a couple of years again. She was writing rap covers to other rappers’ music. Now she has her own album and I am feeling the hell out of it. The performance on Tiny desk gave me so much life.
  7. Omah Lay: You Some Nigeria music for you. I really like this song. That’s it, that’s the tweet.
  8. Remi Wolf: Doctor I am ready to bet money that you haven’t heard this song, in which case you are welcome.
  9. Franc Moody: She’s too good for me I just posted an Instagram video dancing to this song, that’s it. That’s the tweet.
  10. Lil Keed: Snake Rounding up the playlist with some trap. This is a nice song to listen and dance to by making slight movements to the beat.

Thank you for reading this post and I hope you like at least one of the songs. Don’t forget to add the playlist to your library so you get the monthly updates.
